The perfect place for an quiet and relaxing retreat, a stay at a Warriors Mark, PA bed and breakfast inn lets you enjoy the solitude of this beautful area of Central PA while still giving you easy access to some of the area’s most interesting and entertaining attractions. Just 30 minutes away, in various directions, visitors will be able to enjoy the festivals and sporting events that State College has to offer, the railroading history of Altoona with its world famous Horseshoe Curve and Railroaders Memorial Museum and Huntingdon county’s Raystown Lake, and its various caverns and museums.

Legend has it that Indian conclaves were held in Grazier’s woods where 4 great oaks stood (and one purported to be over 200 years old supposedly remains). Warriors would stand in the center of the 4 trees, and whirling, would shoot arrows at stones placed in the crotches. Many arrowheads, spear points and tomahawk heads have been found in the area. Today the unincorporated village, with a colorful colonial past, of about 400 souls sits at the intersection of routes 550 running 39 miles from Tyrone to Zion, and 350 running 22 miles from Philipsburg to Seven Stars.

While visiting Warriors Mark be sure to make reservations at a PA Mid-State Bed and Breakfast and experience the cozy atmosphere that our helpful and friendly innkeepers are proud to provide.
